Here at Ladywood House, Ironbridge, we have been providing a comfortable place to relax whilst visiting The Ironbridge Gorge since 2008. We haves three en-suite family rooms and a twin room with a designated bathroom, each styled individually. All rooms are on one easily accessible level (No stairs). The house dates back to 1820, set in five acres of woodland overlooking the Ironbridge Gorge. Just a stones throw away from The Ironbridge, we're in a great spot for ramblers, casual visitors and museum goers. Local attractions include the Jackfield Tile Museum, Tar Tunnel, Blists Hill Victorian Town, The Coalport China Museum, Broseley Pipeworks, The Museum of Iron and an adventure kids will love - Enginuity.
For those that enjoy to wine & dine. Ironbridge offers a collection of good pubs, restaurants and cafebars. Situated alongside gift shops, curiosity shops and Eley's world famous pork pie shop. You'll find plenty of good dining spots in the surrounding area too:- The Black Swan in Jackfield offers a hearty pub food and beer garden overlooking the river, the King & Thai in Broseley is renowned for good food.
There are plenty of spots down the river for those who love to fish. We're happy to provide a packed lunch instead of breakfast or at an additional charge. We are open all year round. During the summer months, please be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
